Terms and Conditions - Win a Wedding
General
These terms and conditions are applicable to the promotional campaign the “Wedding Give Away” (the “Giveaway”) of Park Centraal Den Haag Operations B.V., a private company with limited liability incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Trade Register of the Chamber of Commerce under number 74395424 and with its offices at Molenstraat 53, 2513 BJ, The Hague, the Netherlands (“Park Centraal”).
Conditions for participation
This Giveaway is only open to couples that are yet not married. For participation a minimum age of 18 years is required.
You can participate in this Giveaway for free. The acceptance and use of the Giveaway and the associated prizes will be fully at the risk of the participants.
By participating in this Giveaway, you agree with these Terms & Conditions and with the applicability hereof to your participation.
Set-up Giveaway
The Giveaway will go online on the website of Park Centraal (https://www.parkcentraal.com/den-haag/win-a-wedding/) on 14 February 2022, 12h00 CET. You will be able to participate in this Giveaway until 14 March 2022, 12h00 CET.
In order to participate in this Giveaway, each couple will have to submit a photo of themselves together with a love story and reason why the couple should win this Giveaway. Each participant hereby agrees that their photo and love story may be published on the website and social media of Park Centraal.
From all couples that participated in this Giveaway and submitted a photo and love story before the deadline of 14 March 2022, 12h00 CET, Park Centraal will make a selection of 3 couples (the top 3) at its sole discretion. These three couples will be eligible to win the Giveaway. On 16 March 2022, 12h00 CET, Park Centraal will announce the top 3 couples on its website and social media. Park Centraal may request for additional information/footage about the selected couples for promotional activities to be shared on the website and/or social media.
From 16 March 2022, 12h00 CET, until 30 March 2022, 12h00 CET, all members of the public will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite couple via the website of Park Centraal.
The couple who gets most votes, wins the Giveaway. The winning couple will be announced on 31 March 2022, 18h00 CET, on the website and Instagram page of Park Centraal.
The results of the voting will be final and not subject to debate.
Prizes Giveaway
The winning couple of the Giveaway will win the following prizes (all located at Park Centraal Den Haag, Molenstraat 53, 2513 BJ, The Hague, the “Hotel”):
- An events space in the Hotel for two days (one day for set-up and one day for the actual wedding day) (worth EUR 3.000);
- Access to two dressing rooms in the Hotel on the wedding day (worth EUR 400);
- One night in the honeymoon suite of the Hotel, including a bottle of champagne and including breakfast (worth EUR 400);
- Ten (10) hotel rooms for the weddings guests to stay overnight, including a bottle of prosecco per room and including breakfast (worth EUR 1.750).
The winning couple will also have the option to book extra hotel rooms for the wedding guests to stay overnight in the Hotel on the wedding day (subject to availability), including breakfast, with a 15% discount on the best available rate.
Conditions and wedding date
The winning couple will have to claim the prizes of the Giveaway and set a date for the wedding before 1 May 2022. The date of the wedding will be mutually agreed between Park Centraal and the winning couple, based on availability. The wedding will have to take place in 2022 or 2023.
If the winning couple does not claim their prize and set a wedding date within this set time frame, Park Centraal reserves the rights to cancel the prizes and select a new prize winning couple for the Giveaway.
For the Giveaway and the organization of the wedding, Park Centraal will collaborate with preferred partners. Park Centraal will offer the services of these preferred partners to the winning couple without obligation. It is up to the winning couple to decide whether they wish to use any services or products of these preferred partners. The winning couple will be informed about these preferred partners and their services after the winning couple has been announced. The preferred partners are third parties. Park Centraal does not have any responsibility as regards the offers, services and/or products of these partners.
In case the winning couple provides incorrect information and the Giveaway can therefore not be granted to the prize winning couple, Park Centraal cannot be held liable for this in any way whatsoever.
Publicity and promotional activities
When participating in this Giveaway, you will cooperate fully in publicity and promotional activities in respect of the Giveaway. This is particularly the case for the couples who make it to the top three and to the winning couple of the Giveaway. Participants of the Giveaway will not be entitled to any compensation for cooperating in promotional activities.
The winning couple consents to the use of their names and image by Park Centraal and its subsidiaries and affiliate companies, in marketing materials, newsletters and on websites and social media.
Content submitted by participants
For participating in this Giveaway, each couple will have to submit personal information, such as email addresses, a photo of the couple and a love story (the “Submitted Content”). You hereby declare that the Submitted Content does not infringe any (intellectual property) rights of third parties and that the Submitted Content is not offensive, racist, discriminatory or otherwise contrary to public morality. Park Centraal expressly reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse or delete any Submitted Content if the Submitted Content is in breach of the foregoing.
You indemnify and hold harmless Park Centraal for any third party claims regarding any infringements of their (intellectual property) rights caused by the Submitted Content in relation to the Giveaway, as well as all associated costs and damages.
By uploading the Submitted Content in relation to the Giveaway, you declare that you assign the intellectual property rights and/or comparable rights to Park Centraal, without any compensation in return. You irrevocably and unconditionally waive your personality rights relating to the Submitted Content in relation to the Giveaway (if any), to the extent permitted by law.
All copyrights and all other intellectual property rights of the text, images and other materials on the Park Centraal website in relation to the Giveaway belong to Park Centraal. The content of this Giveaway may not be multiplied or published without the explicit written consent of Park Centraal.
Personal data and privacy
The participants of the Giveaway are obliged to provide accurate, up-to-date and complete information. Participants that provide Park Centraal with inaccurate or incomplete personal data, will not be eligible for winning the prizes of the Giveaway.
The personal data you share with Park Centraal within the context of this Giveaway, will be processed by Park Centraal for marketing purposes and purposes of organizing and executing the Giveaway. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
In case of any complaints or questions regarding the processing of your personal data, you can contact Manon van Keeken on .Park Centraal will aim to respond to any complaints or question within 14 days.
Liability Park Centraal
Park Centraal and its affiliated companies cannot be held liable for any damages resulting from the use of any information provided by Park Centraal. Park Centraal cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect consequential damages resulting from the Giveaway.
Park Centraal is not responsible for any accidents, late deliveries, damages or (additional costs), of whatever nature, resulting from the Giveaway, the promotion of the Giveaway, or resulting from the prizes of the Giveaway. Park Centraal does not have any responsibility as regards the offers, services and/or products of any preferred partners or any other third parties directly or indirectly involved in the Giveaway.
Miscellaneous
Park Centraal expressly reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions, the terms of the Giveaway and/or prize(s) or to prematurely terminate the Giveaway at is sole discretion, without being obliged to pay compensation for any damages or losses to the participants of the Giveaway.
Park Centraal expressly reserves the right to exclude any fraudulent or unlawful submissions or Submitted Content from participating in this Giveaway.
The prizes of this Giveaway are person-related (or in this case: couple-related), non-transferable to any other person and not exchangeable for money or any other compensation.
The Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen) applies to this Giveaway. Park Centraal acts in accordance with this Code of Conduct.
The Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising or resulting from the Giveaway and these Terms & Conditions will exclusively be brought before the competent courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
