What is your cancellation policy?

We understand your travel plans may change unexpectedly, and we want to make this process seamless for you. If you made your reservation on our website for a stay before 30 April 2020, you can reschedule your visit for a later time in 2020 for free. For new bookings made through 31 August 2020, we apply flexible booking conditions. Please email us and we will take care of everything.

If you made your booking via a third-party website, please check their cancellation policy.

For stays after 31 August 2020, our usual cancellation policy applies: If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the start of your reservation, we unfortunately have to charge you the amount of 1 night of your stay for refundable bookings. If you forget to cancel your booking and don’t show up for your reservation, we will charge you 1 night of your stay for refundable bookings. Some rates may have other cancellation conditions—you’ll see them in the policy of the rate when you book and you can also find in the first section of your booking confirmation.

What time is check-in?

Check in is from 15:00.

What time is check-out?

We ask that you please check out by 12:00.

Do you require a check-in deposit?

We take a security deposit from all guests when you check in. The deposit is €50 per night if paid with a credit card or €100 per night if paid in cash. Deposits will be refunded when you check out, provided the room has not been damaged.

What credit cards to you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diner and JCB.

Where can I park my car?

We have in-house, 24/7 parking facilities for guests. Parking is subject to availability upon arrival, with overnight car parking charged at €65.00 and hourly parking at €7.50 per hour. Besides our private parking facilities, guests can also park in QPark Byzanthium, 300 metres from the hotel. We can also provide valet parking.

Are children welcome?

If there are children in your party, please let us know when making your reservation. Groups of guests that include children up to 12 years old can book a Family Suite only. A baby cot for children up to 3 years old (by request only) can be set up in any room free of charge. Children between 6 and 12 years old get 50% off breakfast.

Is it possible to store my luggage?

We can store your luggage while you enjoy your time in the city before you check in or after you check out.

Do you provide free Internet?

There is free, high-speed WiFi throughout the hotel, including all public areas. For larger events, or where events are being connected across several countries or even continents, we can provide iBAHN conference Solutions with extra bandwidth. Just ask us if you need extra technical support planning for complex events. 

How can I mail something from the hotel?

We can assist you with that. If you’d like to send an item by mail or courier, please contact the service desk.

Does the hotel have climate control?

All areas of our hotel are equipped with climate control. Guest rooms and suites have individually controlled air conditioning.

Where can I store my valuables?

Each room and suite has a private electronic safe.

What happens in the event that I need medical attention?

Our hotel doctor is available 24 hours a day. Contact the service desk to call the doctor or for further details of other medical facilities.

How can I do my laundry?

Dry cleaning and laundry services are available through the hotel. Please ask our porters or the service desk to assist you.

What is the electricity voltage of the hotel?

Our electricity runs at 220V and standard European fittings. Please ask the service desk if you need to borrow an adapter.

Do your guest rooms and suites have minibars?

There is a fully stocked minibar in every newly renovated Classic Room, Deluxe Room, Junior Suite, Family Suite and Duplex Suite.

Does the hotel offer room service?

Park Centraal has 24-hour room service, seven days a week.

Which trains and trams are nearest to the hotel?

The closest tram stops are Hobbemastraat and Leidseplein. Centraal Station is just a 10-minute tram ride away.

Is it possible to get a haircut while I am there?

Please ask our service desk to make a reservation with our hairdresser.

Do you provide hairdryers?

We make sure there are hairdryers in every room and suite.

Where can I find my daily newspaper?

Missing your regular newspaper during your time away from home? About 100 different newspapers of different languages are available at a cost of €5, delivered to your door.

Are pets welcome?

We regretfully cannot allow pets at the hotel.

What is the accessibility of your hotels?

Park Centraal has a number of guest bedrooms that have been modified for wheelchair access and special needs. Please let our reservations department know how we can best accommodate you.

Do you provide secretarial services?

Secretarial services can be organized through the front desk. Please let us know in advance if you’d like this service.

What security and fire safety measures do you take?

Our guests’ security is a priority at Park Centraal. We have a comprehensive security system in place as well as a highly advanced computerized fire alarm system.

What services does your front desk offer?

Our service agents will be delighted to provide you with any advice and info on things to see and do in Amsterdam during your stay. They can also help with any restaurant reservations, car rentals or tickets to museums and tours. Feel free to call or visit the front desk at any time during your stay.

Do you provide wake-up calls?

We do. Contact the service desk to arrange an automated wake-up call on your telephone or television.
